Call of Duty 3 is yet another marvelous video game in the well-known series of Call of Duty. Developed by Treyarch and Pi Studio and published by Activision. It was released on XBox 360, Playstation and Wii and became one of the major successful video games of the year 2006-2007. Call of Duty 3 was released on November 7, 2006 in North America. Later on it was released in Europe and Australia also. Call of Duty was developed by Treyarch (subsidiary of Activision group) in association with Pi Studio. It was published by Activision and released for major seventh generation video game systems including XBox 360, Playstation and Wii. However unlike previous versions of Call of Duty, it was not released for PC.
Plot:
Plot of Call of Duty 3 was same as its prequels and depicts the incidents during World War – II. The major difference between this part and other games in series was that, in Call of Duty 3 there is a single combined campaign and player gets switched between four nations with different characters. There are 14 missions in the game divided in 4 major campaigns. The very first campaign is American Campaign in which player takes the role of “Private Nicholas” and gets engaged in missions such as capture of Saint-Lô, defending Chambois and many more. After that British campaign takes place and plays as Sergeant James Doyle. Third campaign is Canadian Campaign and player has to play as Private Cole and last campaign is Polish Campaign and player has to take the role of Cpl. Bohater, a tank driver that gets engaged in sweeping German forces across French countryside.

Call of Duty 3 maintains the thrill and excitement of players with its amazing missions and campaigns that hold the interests of players. Great sound effects are one of most positive aspects of the game. Visuals and graphics of game are worth mentioning. Designing of game is also a positive point and helps the player to completely engage in the environment of war. By online multiplayer facility 24 players can play the game simultaneously. However this functionality of multiplayer options varies according to the video games systems being used. The gameplay of Call of Duty 3 is improved than first two parts. In Call of Duty 3 players can choose from a class of soldiers and a team that defines the weaponry and abilities of the player. There are six game modes available out of which six is team based and one is individual.
